Madhya Pradesh Tourism recently decided and announced to alter the opening dates of the national parks and sanctuaries in the state to facilitate an increase in tourist arrivals. It was announced that the National Parks in the state will remain open for the visitors till the 30th June, 2016. Earlier the dates announced for the opening of the national parks was 15th June 2016. Madhya Pradesh wildlife tours comprises of the excursions in the animal reserve forests and wildlife sanctuaries that are found in abundance. These wildlife tours are indeed a delight to the visitors, for they provide an array of the wildlife resources. There are in total nine (9) national parks in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The wildlife tours are chiefly organized at:
- Bandhavgarh National Park,
- Kanha National Park,
- Satpura National Park,
- Pench National Park,
- Kuno Wildlife Sanctuary,
- Panna National park
- Fossil National Park,
- Van Vihar National Park, and
- Sanjay National Park
